Le groupe de Correggio Poisonivies & the Steady présente son second opus, intitulé « Stay Twat »: un mélange explosif de ska, de rhyithm’n blues, de rock stable et d’une pincée de ‘psychadelia’ qui rend l’ensemble très original.

Les quatorze chansons enregistrées, enregistrées presque entièrement en direct, comme au bon vieux temps, veulent aussi reprendre cette ironie créative qui caractérisait les groupes punk anglais des années 70.

Mélangeant les sons r&b louisianais des années 50 avec le blubeat jamaïcain du début des années 60, le groupe de Correggio, né en 2014, a créé un nouveau son. Le label allemand Part Records avait déjà sorti son cd – « Look Mom no Boogie » – en 2016 et un ep vinyle de quatre titres – « Ready Steady » – également en 2016. Vers la fin de l’année dernière le groupe a alors auto-sorti un un autre single avec deux chansons originales : « The Rougarou » et « Shut Up Millie ».
